Meet Georgia and Claire, two sisters who have a lot to say about how this year is different from last year. Through the girls’ perspective, this picture book reminds readers that even though this year, things may be scary, crazy and end over end, next year, things will feel more normal. And, the girls point out, even a bad year has some good parts.
Last Year, This Year is a collaborative effort between author Kelly Corrigan and illustrator Nan Davenport. Using images drawn by Kelly's daughters, plus their handwriting, Nan blends her own original paintings and digital illustration with archival materials from Kelly's cancer treatment.
